Seoul, Korea, August 27, 2025 — The ueno Rally del Paraguay, Round 10 of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), will take place from August 28–31 on the fast, technical gravel roads around Encarnación. The event is exclusively supplied with Dynapro R213 by Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook), a leading global tire company under Hankook & Company Group.
Paraguay makes its long-awaited WRC debut this year, becoming the fourth South American nation to host a round after Argentina, Brazil, and Chile — a milestone that has stirred huge excitement among rally fans across the continent. The event spans 19 special stages and 335.22 competitive kilometers, stages blending soft dirt, dense forest tracks, and sudden weather shifts that can dramatically alter conditions.
With no crews having prior experience of Paraguay’s stages, the spotlight will fall on how drivers tackle deeply rutted surfaces, steep gradients, and flat-out sections. Dry conditions are expected to throw up heavy dust that hampers visibility, while sudden summer downpours can instantly reshape the road surface. In such extremes, quick adaptability and tire stability that guarantee consistent performance will be decisive in the fight for victory.
For Rally Paraguay, Hankook will equip competitors with the Dynapro R213, an extreme all-terrain rally tire engineered to absorb heavy impacts on gravel while delivering peak performance across ever-changing road conditions. The tire provides stable grip and precise handling even at high speeds, while its strong durability and wear resistance against external impacts ensure consistent performance under demanding conditions.
Hankook’s innovative technology was on full display at the previous Round 9, Secto Rally Finland, where the Dynapro R213 powered Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team’s Kalle Rovanperä to a record-breaking victory. Averaging 129.95 km/h across four days, Rovanperä stunned the rally world by surpassing the previous benchmark of 126.62 km/h.
The tire also played a decisive role in Toyota teammates Takamoto Katsuta and Sébastien Ogier completing a clean sweep of the podium in second and third. With every rally capable of reshaping the title fight, the upcoming rally is expected to further heighten global fans’ interest in high-performance machines, driver skill, and tire strategy.
Through its exclusive supply across all WRC categories, Hankook continues to demonstrate its leadership in global motorsport. By delivering reliable performance at every event and earning recognition for its technical excellence, the company is reinforcing its position as a premium global brand synonymous with innovation and reliability.
